We want this site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. Public sector buyers are often held to accessibility standards themselves, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

The standard we aim for

We build to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the level most commonly referenced by government accessibility requirements.

What we have done

• Text and background colors are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
• Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Headings follow a logical order, and pages use landmark regions.
• Form fields have visible labels tied to their inputs.
• Motion is reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.

Where we fall short

Accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time task. If you find a barrier on this site, we want to know so we can fix it.
